Westwood Lake Campgrounds
This campground has full services for tenting, RV sites, and ten rental cabins. Facilities include a recreation center, showers, laundry facilities and sanitary hook ups. The cabins have washrooms, cooking facilities and queen sized beds.
Resort on the Lake
RV Resort on the Lake offers 150 year-round RV sites on Westwood Lake, located ten minutes from downtown Nanaimo. Features of the resort include a clubhouse complete with TVs, Internet access, games, pool table, shuffleboard and library. There are tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a putting green, kitchen facilities, public showers and washrooms, walking and hiking trails, swimming beach and more.
Zuiderzee Campsites & Trailer Park

Rolling flower garden hills and mountain views surround this park. Features pull through spots, full trailer hook-ups and cable television. Located just minutes away from ferries, shopping and amenities.
Mountainaire RV Park & Campsite
This campground located on private property offers large, shady RV and tent sites in a park-like setting close to Nanaimo River. Groups are welcome and private areas are available.
Living Forest
Located 3 km from Nanaimo, this campground is a good central location for exploring Vancouver Island. Features include a store, a laundromat, a games room, a boat launch and more.
Brannan Lake Campsites
This 40 acre campground offers quiet, treed and grassy sites. Located on a working farm, the campground features a petting zoo, hayrides, beach access and hiking trails.
Newcastle Island Provincial Park
Walk-in camping is allowed at 18 designated sites in the park. These sites are located in the forest, approximately a 5-minute walk from the dock. A fee for service is collected from March to October. There are also five group campsites, located within a 5-minute walk from the dock and open all year, when accessible. Reservations are accepted for the group sites, but not the walk-in sites.
